Course Overview:
This fun 2 semester course is a hands-on journey through the world of living and non-living organisms and diseases. This biology preparatory course offers students the opportunity to construct structures, complete projects, and dissect organisms to have a better understanding and a strong foundation of the basic principles needed to succeed in High School Biology. Lessons will introduce topics such as cell structure, animal kingdom, dissections, and the use of a microscope. Lessons include homework. Textbooks used include McGraw Hill, Glencoe, Holt, and others. Target grades: 7-9. May be offered in conjunction with our STREAM class.
